NOTES:
Make sure HPC ®/ HSC is completely dry before locking the surface. If the coating does not allow evaporation you might get problem with bubbling.
Also, the surface temperature may not exceed the maximum temperature limit of the coating you intend to use.
Since HPC is now having this new cross linking agent, it is also possible to overcoat directly with a solved based coating, like ENAMOGRIP ® as the solvent will not penetrate into the surface of the HPC ®.
If the environmental conditions are harsh or abusive, you can apply RUST GRIP ®.
You can use any Polyurethane coating, similar to ENAMOGRIP ® for UV protection, as any specific color for can only be ordered by 60 gallons.
This is a problem in many small cases and therefore customers use what they can find in smaller ENAMOGRIP ® quantities.
I use ENAMOGRIP ® Clear, and add tint myself. Even for small quantities. Pigments are sometimes expensive, depending on the color.
