SKODA/Portland STREETCARS
SUPERTHERM
® sprayed on the interior of streetcars during production. SKODA
Streetcars is a 100 year old company, founded in the Czech Republic. These Memphis
Trolly cars were manufactured in Portland, Oregon.

SUPER THERM ®
can replace costly belly pan, damping (spray coating of same) and useless wetable
fiberglass / batt insulation. SUPERTHERM
® also offers significant fire, thermal, water proofing and
acoustical treatment to boot.

The noise problems on the streetcar is a problem with pure tones. As for
road noise coming through the flooring, there is a remarkable difference between
the Skoda cars with SUPER THERM ® and the Tri-Met Siemens cars with traditional batting.
The difference is much more noticeable in the low floor center sections. The
Skoda cars are much, much quieter than the Siemens cars.

SUPERTHERM ®
was selected as a fire and thermal coating, and applied to the bottom of the plywood
flooring. SUPER THERM
® had significant successful applications with related test
data proving same accordingly.
