As a consequence of the results achieved at the Excellent Ice facilities SUPERTHERM ® was specified on the North Langley Sportsplex ice arena. Again this is a stress skin pre-engineered structure from Colony Buildings and David Thompson.
In addition to providing a heat shield to the exterior of the facility and thus reducing the heat load on the ice making equipment; SUPERTHERM ® also prevented the condensation from the brine lines creating dangerous footing on the rubber mats.
