SUPERTHERM ® Student-applied to a tank at Kwantlen's Agricultural Campus located in Langley, BC. These pictures were taken in 2004.
With no maintenance whatsoever the SUPERTHERM
® is still insulating the tank with little or no deterioration
in performance eight years later. This is because once cured SUPERTHERM ®
is impervious to moisture, unlike traditional wrap and clad or
foam insulations which absorb moisture like a sponge.
Unlike traditional wrap and clad or foam insulations, there is
also no deterioration of the tank itself from CUI
( Corrosion Under Insulation ). This is a known problem with all bulk insulations.
