Here are the pictures as taken by Tim Bell and Doug McQueen at McQueen's Yacht Builders in Richmond, B.C., Canada. These pictures are in the bow section of a 90 foot fiberglass hull yacht. They originally purchased SUPERTHERM ® to apply for the sound insulating capabilities it offers. Since many of these yachts end up in warm climates like the Caribbean, the hot sun can create extremely warm temperatures inside. Tim has been using thin foil and fibre batt insulations in various cavities where possible. They soon discovered the advantages of being able to do thermal insulating in many areas they were previously unable to reach even with the foil insulation. As they are constantly looking for light weight materials in this industry, SUPERTHERM ® makes a perfect fit.
