RESIDENTIAL APPLICATION

SUNSHIELD ®

A residence showing the rear enclosed portion of a previously built aluminum addition. The problems consisted of extreme heat built up during the summer months. There is currently no insulation at the ceiling surface, which allows condensation to develop in the winter months. The roof surface is standard enamel paint which has turned chalky due to UV deterioration

SUNSHIELD 2000
Plywood planks were used to distribute weight while working as the substrate is very thin and flexible on both the mobile home and the addition.
SUNSHIELD 2000
A 1500 psi pressure washer was used to clean off sunbaked debris and stains.
SUNSHIELD 2000
Additional wiping down and thorough rinsing of the entire surface was required in efforts to remove the more stubborn stains and chalky residue from the deteriorating factory coating.
SUNSHIELD 2000
Care was exercised to ensure debris was not sprayed onto the neighboring home.
SUNSHIELD 2000
Substrate is now ready to have SUNSHIELD ® applied during the next sunny day. Until then any debris can be easily swept or wiped off of the surface.
