GRIP ®
Problem : This metal plate covers an oil change pit in a converted Auto Detailing Shop. Due to the various chemicals, acids and solvents used, the paint wouldn't last more than a few months before flaking and peeling. Also the surface became slippery which was a WCB, employee and management concern.

Solution : After stripping off the flaking and peeling paint, a primer
coat of RUST GRIP ® was applied.
A less aggressive coating system than that used on offshore oil rigs
was applied. A resin aggregate ( less abrasive ) was broadcast and backrolled
into the primer coat of RUST GRIP ®.
A finish coat of RUST GRIP ®
was then cross hatched for a permanent seal.
