Attached are
photos of a test patch of Rust Grip that is 6 years old. The concrete was track
blasted and the Rust Grip applied by roller over the unsealed concrete - 2 good
coats applied.
The test patch was applied in the most used area in front
of the loading ramp and was only dried for about 12 hours ( I advised to leave
this area unused for 24 hours minimum ) before use.
One of the forklift
operators tried to remove the Rust Grip after the 12 hour dry down by speed
and skidding the wheels under heavy braking (The man was a clown and he was
technically uneconomical as the maneuvers he used to try to remove the coating
wore out a set of the heaviest tread tires on the forklift in 3 months).
The abuse the Rust Grip endured is unimaginable and it held up beautifully.
Photo 526 concrete still sealed the color gone
" 527 left - untreated
concrete; right - Rust Grip no color
" 528 Rust Grip bottom; top unsealed
concrete
" 529 concrete is still sealed but the color gone (This I feel is possible
by the way you have designed the Rust Grip components)
The concrete is still sealed and even though the color is gone the concrete
is still protected.
