This metal arch was being attacked by the chlorine in the swimming pool below. The Epoxy coating had completely failed after about 2 years. In 1998 we primed the metal first with RUSTGRIP ® and then topcoated with 2 coats crosshatched of ENAMOGRIP HG ®. This picture was taken in 2000 on our two year follow up. In 2004 the coating system still looks new. This coating system provides a 10 year manufacturer \ contractor material and labour warranty.
