Applicator must at all times during use, wear a Bureau of Mines-approved,
2-stage (charcoal and cotton) paint spray respirator, designed for removal of
organic vapors, or a fresh air supplied type of respirator. Protective clothing
and protective eye-wear (goggles) are recommended.

APPLICATION PRECAUTIONS : Do not apply over chlorinated rubber. Even after sandblasting, the chlorination can attack the solvents and brittle the coating.
NOTE: When used in exterior coating applications, MOIST METAL GRIP ® will chalk and lose gloss. For maximum exterior weathering properties, top coat with ENAMO GRIP ®.
APPLICATION
METHODS :
New construction (metal, concrete, masonary and wood);
Power wash surface (3,500 psi with citrus cleaner to remove dirt, oil, tar, grease anf film.
Previously coated (metal, concrete, masonary and wood);
Power wash surface (3,500 psi) with Chlor-Rid to remove loos or flaking paint, rust, and salt, and to clean the surface of dirt, oil, tar, grease and film.
MIX IN CURING AGENT, THEN LET STAND FOR 30 MINUTES
BEFORE USING.
Surfaces should be clean, dry surfaces but MOIST
METAL GRIP ® is designed to be applied to damp or wet surfaces free
of debris (oils and chemicals) without loss of adhesion ability. This product
is user-friendly, in that it may be applied by brush, roller, or spray and may
even be applied to damp or moist substrates without fear of adhesion loss. Suitable
substrates: Clean, bare carbon steel, phosphated metals, primed metals, wood,
and concrete. Additionally, these products will exhibit a pot-life in excess of
6 hours. #ME Series Products are environmentally-friendly with a VOC of 3.5 pounds
per gallon.
LET DRY 48 HOURS before submerging under water. It will complete
it's cure while submerged. Completely cures in 10 days.
If application is by brush use a medium bristle brush.
If application is by roller use a short nap roller
If application is by spray use a standard airless sprayer (3,000 psi or less) with a .017 tip.

COVERAGE AND FILM THICKNESS RECOMMENDATIONS
Metal
@ 200 sf per gallon applied in two coats crosshatched at 400 sf per coat. This
measures 5 - 7 mils WFT = 2.5 - 3.5 mils DFT per coat. ( A Wet Mil Gauge is
recommended )
Concrete @ 100 sf per gallon applied in two coats cross
hatched at 200 sf per coat.
A coat of 6 mils DFT is recommended for offshore
rigs or oil tank flooring.
