The Lids and rim flange were coated with RUST GRIP ® to help resist chipping and wear caused by opening and closing the tanks.
These Acid tanks were coated with LINING - KOTE ® to resist the chemical effects of Hydrochloric Acid. Unprotected metal will normally dissolve at a 17% hydrochloric acid solution. These tanks hold a 25% solution.
