APPLICATION METHODS
SP INTERLOCK / INNERSEAL ® can be applied by rubber squeegee, soft bristle brush or 3/8 inch nap roller.

Old Concrete:
Apply SP INTERLOCK / INNERSEAL ® in three coats
1) First Coat should be spread at sixteen mils wet. Saturate the surface of the concrete with SP INTERLOCK / INNERSEAL ® by spraying or pouring out onto the surface then using a squeegee to evenly distribute the product. Allow to stand overnight. Any residue that comes to the surface should be washed or damp mopped away.

2) Apply the second coat at sixteen mils wet and allow to stand overnight. Any residue that comes to the surface should be washed away.

3) Apply the third coat at sixteen mils wet and allow to stand overnight. Rinse the residue from the surface. The concrete should now be sealed.

4) After the last application, rinse the surface once each day with water. Do this until the concrete stops purging foreign matter to the top. On an oil- or acid-soaked concrete, this internal purging may continue for up to 7 days before the concrete is completely cleaned from the inside.

NOTE: Each application will penetrate deeper into the concrete to seal and purge oils and foreign matter out of the concrete. Be sure to mop up any pooling on the surface. If it sets up, it will be similar to glass on the surface of the concrete.

New Concrete:
Apply SP INTERLOCK / INNERSEAL ® in one to two coats, according to absorption.

1) Apply SP INTERLOCK / INNERSEAL ® to a thickness of sixteen mils wet. Saturate the surface of the concrete with SP INTERLOCK / INNERSEAL ® by spraying or pouring out onto the surface then using a squeegee to evenly distribute the product. Allow to stand overnight. Any residue that comes to the surface should be washed away.

2) Apply the second coat of SP INTERLOCK / INNERSEAL ®, if needed, to a thickness of sixteen mils wet. Allow to sit overnight. Wash off any residue on the surface. Concrete should now be sealed.

NOTE: If any of the coating pools on the surface, it should be mopped up.
